McDonalds in Cambridge turned away a 25 year teacher after he failed a breathalyser test. The Cambridge McDonalds introduced the breathalyser scheme after a number of recent incidents of drink-related anti-social behaviour.

The branch of McDonalds signed up to a Police funded pilot scheme to cut down on drink-related incidents in Cambridge. Other local companies are expected to follow suit and Cambridge United Football Club has also signed up to the scheme to breathalyse fans entering its stadium.
