Designed from the ground up by AlcoSense in the UK with Patented new features, the Pro packs the punch of a breathalyzer twice its price and brings near Police accuracy into the reach of the consumer.
Professional Accuracy
Pro by name, pro by nature. It uses a 121mm² professional Fuel Cell sensor, identical to its 200mm² big brother used in several UK, US & European Police Breathalyzers – and in the AlcoSense Ultra. This gives the Pro unrivalled accuracy at this price point and accuracy of almost twice the AlcoSense Elite.
Advanced Sampling System with Temperature Compensation
The AlcoSense Pro features an advanced sampling system to ensure that only deep lung air (the most accurate part of the breath) is measured. It uses advanced sensors to measure the blow pressure, flow rate and volume of breath exhaled and takes a reading when 1 litre of air has been exhaled, ensuring the most accurate sample is always taken. To improve accuracy even further, readings are fine-tuned according to temperature. These sensors also allow the Pro to get clever with BlowCoach™
BlowCoach™
Most issues while doing a breath test are caused by either blowing too hard, too soft or not for long enough, and with some products this can also cause inaccurate results. BlowCoach™ is a Patent Pending technology from AlcoSense which makes it simple to do the perfect test every time!
The Pro shows you real-time on screen feedback of how you’re blowing. All you need to do is keep the top pressure bar in the middle, and keep blowing until the bottom volume bar is full.

Eliminating Under-Reading
Every breathalyzer has an accuracy tolerance of +/- X.XX of the reading – the smaller the number the more accurate the breathalyzer claims to be. The AlcoSense Pro has some clever software to eliminate the downside – i.e. instead of having a tolerance of +/-0.1‰BAC, the AlcoSense Pro’s tolerance is +0.10‰BAC, -0.00‰BAC. This means the Pro will read a little on the safe side, not too low and more than twice as accurate as the award-winning AlcoSense Elite.
Any Limit in the World – Literally
At a click of button the AlcoSense Pro will work with any limit, anywhere in the world! Just select the country/region you’re driving in from the menu and using AlcoSense’s patent pending technology the Pro sets every up for you according to the local legislation. It sets the limit, unit of measure and blood breath conversion ratio to allow accurate readings in either blood alcohol or breath alcohol. Should a limit change the unit can be updated through a software download from our support section. Ideal for cross border or even cross continent travel.
If you want to set your own self-imposed limit, for example maybe half the drink drive limit, you can do that too! Just select “Limit” from the main menu to adjust it to the limit you desire.

Detailed, Easy to Understand Results
AlcoSense Pro features a full colour 1.8 inch (48mm) TFT screen which gives clear and detailed readings of your alcohol level in your choice of breath (mg/L or µg/100mL) or blood (%BAC or ‰BAC) readings. If you’re close to or over your chosen limit the Pro will alert you not to drive.

Backlit “Twin” Blow Tube Receptor
The Pro features a backlit blow tube receptor so it’s easy to put a blow tube even in low light. The Pro works with both the “Pro” mouthpieces which feature a one-way valve to eliminate contamination from previous tests for ultimate accuracy, or the “regular” blow tubes used by the AlcoSense Lite and Elite.
Re-Calibration Alert
Any breathalyzer requires re-calibration after a period of use, the AlcoSense Pro has an industry leading calibration period of 12 months from the first time you use it. To improve reliability and user friendliness AlcoSense Pro reminds you to recalibrate after 11 months of use. When calibration expires just post it to us and we will recalibrate it using Police spec Breath Alcohol Simulators and return it to you within 5 working days.
Temperature Alerts
If a breathalyzer is used outside its operating temperatures you can get erroneous readings due to temperature affecting the quality of the reaction inside the sensor. For your safety and protection AlcoSense Pro will alert you if the unit goes outside its operating range (note the operating temperature is the temperature of the unit, not the surrounding air temperature) of 5°C~40°C. This means that, unlike rival brands, the Pro will never let you perform a test when you could get an unreliable result.
Saturation Protection
Unlike rival brands, AlcoSense Pro also protects you from inaccuracy caused by “Sensor Saturation”. Sensor Saturation can affect any breathalyzer, including Police units and is caused when extremely high levels of alcohol are blown directly into the sensor. Normally this happens when a breath test is performed shortly after drinking when alcohol is still present in the mouth, the sensor can be overloaded, known as “saturation”. Readings taken after a saturation event can be unreliable until the sensor recovers. For your safety and protection, rather than allowing potentially unreliable readings to be shown, AlcoSense Pro will enter a protection mode which allows the sensor to recover before allowing further tests.

Such an improvement on the old SE we had. Ready in about 15 seconds, tubes are much easier to insert, graphical guide is very useful and the readings are easy to read and the storage is very useful. Upgrade option saved money too, and was quick and easy. Highly recommended

I have recently bought the Alcosense Pro and I can honestly say it’s a great little device, easy to set up, just make sure you get the date correct as you can’t go back to change it, these little gadgets are a must for any driver who enjoy an alcoholic drink in an evening, it’s very easy to use and could save you your license.

My upgrade from an Elite to a Pro model arrived just 3 days after posting the old kit to AlcoSense. The set-up instructions are simple to follow and the Pro is a real improvement on the Elite model in terms of being "fool proof". The procedure for testing really couldn't be simpler, notwithstanding the "Do" and "Don't" lists.

I had a fat, grey unit from AlcoSense for many, many years. It was great and I had no trouble with it, ever.
I then bought a Lite 2 because my old one was too old to be re calibrated apparently.
I had nothing but a 'mare with the Lite, and it's 'Flo errors'
So I bought an Elite.
Same situation. Absolute nightmare.
I communicated with the great customer services guy (first name beginning with a K) who I have got to know a bit over the past year or so.
He offered me a bit of a trade-in discount on a Pro unit which I accepted.
Thank you.................This unit is a God-send to me!
So easy to set up- no weird little buttons almost hidden away in the battery compartment,
But, most wonderfully; so simple to use.
The two on screen charts, (that you can actually see as you use the device, unlike the screen on the two other units I tried) make it SO easy to get a reading; quickly and simply.
It really is a different class to the other units and considering the risks and costs involved with NOT being able to get a result at 5 or 6am, well worth the extra money in my opinion.
But I am still a bit gutted to have spent the time, money and stress on the Lite 2 and the Elite.
However, I think I may have some responsibility.
Only on reading the instructions for the Pro was I reminded that I should not be retesting for THREE minutes after a test.
I had totally forgotten that..................and always used to try again instantly after a Flo-error.
So that was my mistake.

I don't drink & drive - I got this unit specifically for piece of mind 'the morning after the night before'.
The unit is solidly built (although I'm not so sure how well the case will hold up to being dropped). From opening the box to switching it on the setup is so simple & straightforward - I was testing the unit within a couple of minutes.
It's easy to give a sample, and the result is clear & unambiguous.
I'm no longer afraid of getting in my car the day after I've been drinking. The Alcosense Pro is not cheap, but it's much cheaper than losing my licence and gives me great piece of mind.Rating -

this is a great quality breathalyser, easy to use, i bought it after reading it could tell me how long till sober, but that doesnt really help if i have to wait 90 mins after my last drink to test myself, thought i could drink my limit knowing i would be safe , non the less its a great thing . just wish it came with more mouthpieces for the price i paid

Bought this to replace an older model and got money off, as I traded my old unit. This one seems more accurate and reliable. I like the "time until sober" function, and it's also handy to be able to set an alarm to recheck after the time has elapsed.

Bought an Alcosense Lite 2 about 2 years ago, just so I knew if I was okay to drive the morning after. Had it calibrated after the first 12 months and is still going strong. Decided to upgrade, so bought an Alcosense Pro. Very easy to set up and use. Unit feels sturdy and it can be used in lots of places due to having pre programmed limits, so switching between them is easy. There have been lots of times over the past 2 years where I have felt okay. However, on using the Lite 2, it brought back a positive result, meaning if I had been stopped, I would have blown over. These things are an investment to ensure you keep a hold of your driving licence. The thing I like about the Pro, is that it gives you an estimated time until you are safe to drive. Well worth the money.

It feels a very chunky item out of the box. It takes around 40 seconds from turning it on to getting a result, and is very easy to use. I have total confidence in it to give a reliable result. Quality and solidity oozes from the device. If you are going to drink and drive (which most of us do from time to time!) it's an absolute must to take with you. I intend to use it in Europe, this summer, in Australia next spring, and here in the UK with total confidence.
So why only 4 stars? It's not cheap and to ensure it stays reliable it has to be calibrated every 12 months, so there is a cost of ownership beyond replacing the batteries. Also the pro mouthpiece can be fits into the port either way. This has a one way valve inside so if you blow into it and your face turns blue, well, now you know why!
It's all about sense and sensibility. That would be a really great book title. I wonder if anyone thought of it already?Rating -

I have only had this a few days but it seems to eat batteries and doesnt like good quakity rechargables either (eneloop pro) however they seem to last better. There are lots of glowing reviews out there but I question some of the content. One stated 'it's so accurate' my question is how do they know that? what was their control measure etc. But the unit is simple to use and the breath flow rate bar is reassuring. I'm not sure why you get a red flag saying 'DO NOT DRIVE' when you are not over the limit but close to it. Is this just to discourage driving while intoxicated (even though still legal) OR is it to discourage driving due to the units inaccuracy?
Anyway, I feel I will not get my questions fully answered but will continue use the Alcosense Pro because it is far superior to the single use devices that can be unintentionally defeated. Alcosense customer service via the Now Group seem to be on the ball and you get a human whick is welcomed.Rating -

I bought the AlcoSense Pro a couple of weeks ago and I am very pleased with it.
After a heavy session for scientific purposes only and a live feed to my compadre's whom very much enjoyed my shenanigans, I tested the device and it advised of how long it would be until I was sober....14hrs give or take, I wanted to see if I could take it a tad further but alas I overloaded the sensor and had to wait 24hrs until it would allow me to test again.
This breathalyser was purchased for an event in June that involves 180+ veterans camp in a field with an obscene amount of alcoholic beverages consumed in a long weekend and as a semi-responsible adult(ish), I want my brethren to be within the legal limit for their onward journey home 'the morning after'.

This breathalyzer works in a simple way, and is easy to use. It provides clear results, with a green/orange/red colouring according to your alcohol level. I have only had it a couple of months, so cannot comment on long-term reliability. It is in the upper end of the price range for such instruments, but I think the peace of mind associated with the quality will be worth it.
My only (rather minor) reservation is that it has to be sent back to the maker to be recalibrated once a year. The current cost of doing so means that you pay the price of the item again in 4 years. However, if this is a guarantee of peace of mind from both the safety and legal points of view, then it is acceptable.Rating -

Bought mostly for the festive period. Even though I would never drive under the influence of alcohol, the Alcosense Pro breathalyser has given me peace of mind and the option to use my car knowing that I have zero alcohol in my blood. I’ve now used it several times after drinking the night before with varied results. Once it was amber when my partner used it the morning after her works night out. She wasn’t driving but I just wanted to see the difference. For years I’ve thought I was always over the limit due to how I felt, but I now know and can prove I’m actually ok to drive. The machine was easy to set up and is easy to use. I have now changed the readings to mg/ml instead of the preset BAC due to that’s what I have known alcohol content as. I’m happy with my purchase and I would recommend the Pro unit, and for the money it’s definitely worth holding onto my licence, especially when Scotland’s limits are so low.

This product is fantastic, it shows you if you are over the limit of 0.80% in the UK. My only feedback would be that it is not clear if the limit is 0.8 or 0.80%. It shows as 0.00 rather than 0.0, so results can be confusing. Additionally, my limits are set to the UK legal limits (0.8 / 0.80 on the device) but shows as red / do not drive if you are 0.6 / 0.60 which doesn’t seem right.

With different people metabolising alcohol at different rates, let alone perceiving how drunk they are, relying upon rule of thumb guides to drinking before driving is a bit like Russian roulette.
I had thought about buying something like this for sometime, researching different options and soon realising that there's a big difference in reliability between brands.
With a son that drives for their work, it became even more important to be able to get an accurate measure of whether someone is fit to drive. Hence, the decision to finally make a purchase.
I decided upon this model based upon the technology used and reviews from other users. Having a larger sensor than the cheaper model, albeit not as large as the top model, but at not much more money, especially compared to the top model, I decided this model was the sweet-spot for price vs performance.
The device is easy to setup and has enough tubes to get you going. However, the omission of a storage case as standard seems a bit tight on behalf of Alcosense.
The ability to choose preset limits for different countries, or set a limit manually, is really useful and adds to the device's flexibility.
Readings are quick and easy to obtain. I was surprised just how little effort was required, in terms of blowing, to obtain a reading - it really doesn't take much puff to complete a test.
The first time I tried it, I found that the readings changed over the space of 20 or so minutes, rising to a peak before dropping back a bit. So, in terms of accuracy I'm undecided just how reliable it is, although at least it agreed with my own suspicion of being over the limit, having had a double gin and two 750ml bottles of 5.5%ABV beer in quite quick succession. My peak reading was 0.97% BAC, which quickly dropped to 0.84%.
The guide of how long until sober is interesting, although takes no account for the physiology and metabolism of the person being tested, so should only be viewed as a rough guide and another test done before driving. That said, I tested again after the time it had suggested and got a reading of 0% despite feeling a bit groggy, likely due to dehydration.
The memory function is also a handy thing to have, allowing you to see how quickly your reading drops, or to just monitor how often you drink too much!
One more thing to note, the tube goes in at an angle - if you try pushing it in perpendicular to the front it won't fit.
Overall, I think the device is a pretty good purchase, especially if you can find it on offer anywhere. At £150 it feels a little expensive, especially given the lack of a case, although compared to the next model up, it's a bargain. Also, for the knowledge that you are safe the morning after, or otherwise, it is potentially priceless! What value a driving license or somebody's life!?Rating -

I had previously the AlcoSense Elite 3. It was extremely slow. It counted multiple times down from 40 second. I eventually stopped using it as it was useless waiting 2 minutes when i got in the car and i wanted to make sure that the 2 beers are long gone. This AlcoSense PRO on the other hand, is superfast. Worth every peny.

I bought one of these to test for my youtube motoring channel, I have to say I was impressed with the design, the build quality, the ease of use, and the time it takes to display the result. I am a retired medical practitioner.
I found that with a lot of spare time on my hands, and no clinical duties or responsibilities, the temptation to “have a few” and fall foul of the law “under the influence” was an ever increasing risk!
I found the Alcosense Pro digital breathalyser met all my requirements and was extremely easy to set up and use.
I found the features of the device were very useful, especially the 128 test memory recall with an indelible time and date stamp!
The readings were easy to comprehend and the screen background colour which indicated the level of alcohol, was very useful.
I take daily recordings (usually once as a routine, and whenever I feel I may have yielded to temptation!)
I find it very useful as a method of verification.
I am not an expert in the field of alcohol dependence/ addiction, but I found the ease of use, and features, would be ideal for voluntarily monitoring one’s own issues, if any, with alcohol consumption.
I thoroughly recommend the product which is also designed with aesthetics and ease of use in mind!Rating -

We bought the Pro model which which is middle range of the products on offer from Alco sense. We needed something, small but not too big and something that will do the job right every time. Have only just taken delivery of this and after a couple of trials can't believe how easy and accurate this device is. Having a traffic light system of Red, Amber and Green makes life easier when understanding if someone should drive or not. Have also stock of the disposable test kits for going abroad. Can't rate them enough, very happy and leased to have reliable solutions in place.

As far as I can understand, the=is is the cheapest model you can buy that won't b affected if you have diabetes / on a keto diet. Just bear in mind that it needs sending of for recalibraton every 12 minths (almost ever breatheliser does) you shouldn't use it until 15 minutes after last drink (too much alc = damage to meter) and you have to wait up to 90 minutes to get the mosta ccurate test.

I recently upgraded to the Pro version. My job involves a lot of driving through the UK, and although I am not a big drinker, this is a great piece of kit to keep in my car just for peace of mind after drinking the night before driving. My family and friends have used my unit many times, and are very impressed with it also. I would definitely recommend the Alcosense products to anyone who "Needs to know" how much alcohol could be in their system, so easy to use.

Okay, so this is not the cheapest product on the market - but what cost the loss of your license? I bought this item on the 30th May '23 having done a lot of research into different makes and types. I chose the AlcoSense Pro as not only did it measure my alcohol level but also told me when I was likely to be sober. It is so easy to use and brilliant to check my alcohol level "the morning after" as many drivers drive illegally not knowing that alcohol is still present in their body. As for the quality of the item. "First Class" I would highly recommend purchasing one of these either for personal use or as a gift for a spouse or friend as the consequences of trying to guess your alcohol level the next morning could be life changing if you lose your drivers licence.

I bought this from Halfords, were I have a discount (7%) for use primarily in France where I live as the alcohol limits there are much more stringent than they are here and as the BBQ season is nearly upon us I thought it would a good idea to check in the morning prior to driving if I was OK to drive. I am ultra cautious when having a drink then driving never having more than 1 pint and yes I know that I shouldn’t drink and drive at all which is what I strictly obeyed since I passed my Driving Test but this is France and the only Pub is 4 kms away. However now I am more aware of the dangers of the morning after especially if alcohol consumption extends into the night. I plan to drink moderately and always do a check before I drive especially if it is an early morning start. This Breathalyzer will allow me to manage my alcohol intake with my planned driving activity. A great piece of kit at a realistic price

Really simple to use, especially the on screen feedback when you blow into it. The 'time to sober' was longer than it actually took me to go down to 'green', but of course, that's going to vary from person to person. So many people don't realise that they may still be over the limit for a really long time the next day after a night out. This gives you the confidence to know for sure your alcohol level.

Bought to replace an older model that finally give up, my own fault for dropping it. Pleased I did it’s a brilliant piece of kit if you like the odd drink. If I’ve had the one extra the night before I can check in the morning and decide on driving or getting a lift in. I also have the option to work from home. So no excuse for me if I was to be ‘done’ for DD. Even if, like me, you are rarely over, it gives you the confidence of knowing your not chancing your licence on your morning commute. I traded in my Alcosense Elite for the Pro model. The transaction was very smooth, and my new unit was received a few days after returning the old one.
Set-up was very straightforward and living in Scotland which has a lower limited than the rest of the UK was no problem.
The unit itself looks very robust and well made. Living in the depths of the countryside I always make sure that I am safe to drive as there is no public transport here, and it is also very handy to take if we have a sleepover at friends.
Expensive but well worth the cost of peace of mind.

Orignaly was gifted the Excel before heading off to France on a road trip. Was fantastic after lunches or wine tasting to make sure we were all good. Also very helpful after a late night making sure I was still good to drive in the AM. Big fan of the product. Only suggestion. Perhaps color coded tubes so we can reuse them.

Traded in an old Alcosense non-fuel cell breathalyzer for the Pro model. We use it to test the morning after. We have been over cautious in the past, according to the results. With this we can see when we can drive, which seems to be generally sooner than we had previously guesstimated. Alcosense are sending out a few single use tests to compare results with the Pro. Will update the review when they arrive.

I like a few nights out at darts, pool and dominoes. I also like a few beers. Until recently, knowing when to drive the next day safely has been a bit of a guess. NOT ANYMORE ! I bought the Alcosense SE2 a few years back on offer in Costco.
It has had a lot of use, however I decided to upgrade to the Pro recently......what a machine! It is very easy to use, no countdown like the SE2, and gives me even more confidence in the results it shows. The sober up time feature is very clever. Bought this for those morning afters where you are never too sure how long to wait before you can drive. The lower blood alcohol limits we have in Scotland make this more of a concern. The product is well made and is very easy to use. The accompanying instructions are very informative - not just on the product but on the subject of blood alcohol levels and breath testing. I went for the Pro model for the higher accuracy. Pleased with my purchase and I would recommend this product.

Seems to be very accurate, although I have no comparison. However, I predominantly bought it to use after a couple of beers to see if driving home was appropriate. Unfortunately the instructions state that you must wait 90 minutes after your last drink to get an accurate reading. Now I understand that this is not AlcoSense's fault and is simply human physiology but this is not stated anywhere until you open the packet and read the instruction manual. By then I'd already opened the batteries and started up the machine meaning I couldn't return it. Still a good bit of kit mind you.

Opted for the alcosense pro version, it is a bit more expensive than the other models, however displays the most accurate results it is claimed. Also I love the pressure and volume sensor which gives you a “live” feedback on your blowing strength and the amount. With some things in life you shouldn't mind paying a bit more to be on a safer side.

The Pro model is easy to use and comes with good, clear instructions. Delivery was fast and the product was well packaged. Three AAA batteries were included.

Purchased this model 2 weeks ago at Halfords after reading great reviews about it and have to say it seems very good. Design is great, easiness of use from configuration to test itself the same. Tried it at home so far but I am sure it will do the job. Only minus is the case sold separately...it seems a little too small to fit the device and couple of mouthpieces.

Very impressed with the AlcoSense Pro.
Was going to buy the Excel, but travelling a lot across Europe it made sense to have a unit with country specific limit data loaded into the device, and updatable online.
The unit is solid, and seems well made. It is a little bulky, but perhaps a small inconvenience for the added accuracy and capabilities.
Bought the universal case as well, however be aware that the unit will only fit in the case on the side that has no securing capability and will just fall out of the case on opening, caution required!
Ideally the case should be modified, there is really no reason not to have securing capabilities on both sides of the case!
Already used the device several times, it is so easy to use.
Great to have such a device for the added peace of mind.

always had one an "elite" and used it whenever in doubt. its surprising how late in the morning you can test yourself and still fail!
especially when the night has gone on and you may feel you have had a evenings drinking separated by a night sleep.
but that night sleep may have been only a few hours and the "one for the road" will still be in your blood.
my elite worked for years without issue. only a couple of days ago it got stuck on "blow" so would not give a reading
it was a case i feel ok but slightly different so i just wasn't happy to take the change (never take the chance its not worth it my friend did and even though he wasn't responsible for the road traffic accident because a child was injured both drivers were tested HE failed and now will lose his job ,insurance will be astronomical ,and the stigma that goes with losing your licence through drink driving ,last a lot longer that the one year driving ban and the ten years of heightened insurance premiums .losing your licence it will last a lifetime!
I used the the great "upgrade" offer on the "alco sence" website where my faulty elite went back for a discount on a "Pro" havent had to use it yet but the december random police checks will be starting in december and as mentioned its not worth taking the chanceRating -

I upgraded from an older model which needed calibrating to work initially, and no real sense of how hard or softly you had to blow. The Pro model works intuitively without initial calibration and has a very easy to understand blowing graphic. This is much easier to use than earlier models (I had the Elite). Great device.

I used to use my parents Alcosense breathalyser so I knew it was a name I could trust. I went for the pro as it was in my budget and when i received it my first impression was I had paid too much for it! The fact that it uses AAA batteries and it doesn’t have its own rechargeable battery is a bit disappointing, but after turning it on and seeing that I can change countries, recall previous tests, set alarms to test again, i felt a lot more comfortable spending more. After a few weeks (and nights out) i dont think i could live without it!

This is now my 2nd one of these breathalysers. Hadn't realised we had had the previous model for about 5 years. Never had a problem with it. Sent it off for calibration and the customer service was excellent. We upgraded in the end to a better product. Whole process was done well and the guys on the phone were super helpful. Device arrived pretty quickly. Super happy with everything.

I have just purchased my second device after owning one for a few years as my daughter has left home taking the first one with her. We use for driving the following day (particularly our children). My daughters can drink a variety of things on a night out so it's very difficult to know how they process the units of alchol and if, despite feeling ok, they are safe to drive. This device is compact and easy to use and gives them the reassurance that they are clear of alcohol in their system before driving (they wait until they blow clear rather than within the legal limit). I have told so many friends about these breathalysers and it's been a godsend for them too. Thought the case was quite pricey so bought a hardshell camera case for about £4 which fits perfectly! I wouldn't be without it now

My second one as the sensor on the original had become unstable after 6 years. It is very easy to use and the fact is that you can set to the relevant UK or European countries as well as the US and Australia as the limits differ and also depend on whether you are a pro driver or not. Had the alcosense excel for 4 years wich everyone in my household use. This Xmas had my own alcosense pro as a gift. Both great products wich have shown us time and time again that we were over the limit next day even though we felt ok to drive. Been with they weight in gold. Both do excellent job but a few extras on the pro such as Time when sober and alarm to retest at this time and the blow coach. . Do anyone who’s thinking of getting a alcosense breatherliser just do it and keep you license. I can only comment on the 2 I’ve used above but each one dies a perfect job.

While I would never knowingly drink and drive, I do like to have a beer or two of an evening. Although I was fairly sure I was OK to drive in the mornings, at this time of year especially, with the Police conducting their Christmas (random hence illegal) drink drive testing, I wanted to be sure. This is an excellent piece of kit, easy to use, and gives me the peace o mind that I am definitely sober before I drive.

It can be adjusted for whichever country you are in and is extremely accurate.Personally, I only need it for the morning after as I’d never take the car out if I’m drinking, so this gives me the piece of mind to just get on, without having to worry about being stopped.Expensive, but worth it.

Only had it a couple of weeks but so far very happy with it. Multiple settings are available for different country limits and units of measure. Unlike other devices I have owned this also gives an estimation of when the alcohol will be completely out of your system which is a useful added feature.

Easy to use and results reflect how you feel, I have tried it on several occasions since purchasing when I have suspected that I would have been over the limit or have had a couple of drinks the night before and know it should say there is some levels in my system but should be under the limit if required to give a sample by a Traffic Officer...It also recommend a length of time until you will be completely sober for those who wish to know that info too...You cannot however breath in to the Device during your night of drinking or certainly soon after finishing a drinking session, as you could damage the device or it could give a false read, so it is no good for knowing if you are under directly after you have had a couple of drinks etcAll of this to be fair is explained and the logic behind it regarding the way the human body deals with processing alcohol, so that is not a limitation to the device but more a limitation about our bodies...Went for the middle of the range version, and it appears to work well when used correctly !

You don't need to blow for more than a few seconds before the reading is taken, and it's only a few seconds more to wait for the result. The reading gives a blood alcohol value as well as a simple "red - don't drive", "amber - below legal limit" and "green - low or no alcohol" indicator. You can change your geographical location in the settings to obtain the correct legal driving limit for where you are. These limits are kept current through downloadable software updates. The test result also gives an estimated "time until sober".As far as accuracy goes I have taken several readings so far and it seems to have tracked my alcohol level sensibly as it reduced over time, and also gave a correct "low-no alcohol" reading after having not consumed alcohol for a couple of days.Would recommend.

After much research, the AlcoSense Pro was the one that ticked all tha boxes, not the cheapest but if its cheapness your after go for tha "single use ones". I wanted one that took the guesswork out and gave you a numbered reading from a calibrated unit and Britsh made too...which swung it for me. AlcoSense offer ongoing support with their products such as a yearly re-calibration service from the date you first use tha breathalyser which for me is service I will take up to keep the unit current and accurate.I used it for the first time at a festival for a safe guide to tha morning after...after drinking numerous bottles and shots (mainly JD). Following all the instructions I tested my self and a few of our friends leaving enough time between tests, the results were mixed as you would expect. I found it simple enough to use after realising the tube is fitted on an angle to help you see tha "blow guide" tip bar reading...I would say for me the tube could be a little longer to stop you squinting...but this does not in any way stop you using this breathalyser to its full potential and in my mind the Best I have tried and I have no hesitation in recommending and even endorsing this...In my opinion a fantastic product.

A very good easy to use product. Useful features and unit appears to be well built and accurate. In the past in connection with my job I have had experience of the professional breathalyser similar to the Police equipment. This unit compares favourably with such units.Not cheap compared with some units on the market, however I do tend to feel you get what you pay for.

It also cranks up the reading when drinking on an empty stomach, which is how it should be- alcohol on am empty stomach enters the bloodstream more quickly than after a 14" pizza.As I rarely drink later than 6pm, the morning after readings are, to date, always green <0.09.

The only criticism would be the ribbon cable that connects the two parts of the unit is a weak point in design and ultimately prone to failure having taken a broken unit apart to see what the poem was. May be a redesign for the next model if one is designed.

A must if you like a tipple to check yourself in the morning, was in a position to check it against the sl500 and the readings were the same, this is the breath box the police use. Only quibble is the 'sober in' estimates seem to be off. Otherwise, perfect product.

Bought this unit to make sure that I was 100% safe the morning after, for driving. Unit is well made and very simple to use. Blow tubes were a bit fiddly to get into the unit connection. Otherwise very easy to set up and use. Would recommend this product.

Fantastic.....and quite an eye opener!Occasionally have a drink on a 'school night' as we call it. 99% of the time we feel a ok next morning but have wondered if once or twice we would have been over the limit so got this to be on the safe side. Hubby tried it the next morning before going to work- he felt absolutely sober as a judge......the alsosense told him to wait 7 hours before driving! We were stunned. He rang into work and booked the day off!What scared us was that he felt fine and had driven into work on numerous occasions before.....he is so lucky to not have been pulled over and lose his license.We no longer drink 'on a school night' !!

I delayed my review so I could thoroughly test this breathalyser.Firstly, do not buy cheap breathalysers unless you are just using them for fun, they are worse than not using them at all - the last thing you need is to be lulled into a false sense of security!I had the opportunity to test the Alcosense Pro against other MUCH more expensive evidence equipment and the results were impressive. Within reason, I would trust this unit to give me accurate readings if used correctly - remembering to wait a while after brushing your teeth (oops!) or using mouthwash etc but most things to avoid are common sense.My only gripe is that you have to buy the next model up (at an extra £100) to be able to download the readings to a computer. You can update the software using a supplied USB cable although a required driver is not digitally signed so my computer refuses to install it.Other reviewers have complained that it requires calibration each year but this is not expensive and keeps the thing accurate. I suspect the complainers don't give their cars a service either... ????That said, I am totally satisfied with this breathalyser and would recommend it to anyone. It is a well designed unit, easy to use and solidly made although I thought it prudent to get a carry-case for it. Even better; designed and made in the UK, good to see home grown innovation alive and well. Keep it up people!

Like any caring husband I would not want her to become an alcoholic but after 4 years the habit is getting hard to break! There have been ultimatums and of course she is always in self denial about drinking even after I search the house and find the hidden empty & full bottles. Now that she knows I can check her alcohol level I have not had to use the AlcoSense Pro because I have not found her comatose or in a drunken stupor since. I think this breathalyser has saved our marriage! Works as I had hoped, thanks.

I've used my pro about 15 times, it has always given a reading of 0, apart from once. This makes me slightly dubious of it's accuracy.

I bought this unit after much deliberation and research, as I want a unit I can actually trust and it seems the way to achieve genuinely accurate readings is a calibrated fuel cell sensor and a metered sample. Years ago, I tried a cheap no-brand unit based on semiconductor technology that told me I was under the limit despite clearly being in a state where I wouldn’t trust myself with anything more dangerous than a butter knife…Anyway, this unit offers a decent sized fuel-cell sensor, the ability to vary the limit for different jurisdictions and an annual (at a reasonable cost) calibration service. This unit meters the sample size as well as providing a really handy bar type indicator for blow rate. So, this all looked like something that I could take as being accurate. The tests I found on the Internet all backed this line of thought up.In use, this device is really simple to operate, slide open and wait for the countdown of a few seconds to warm up, inset blow-tube and go for it, watching the 2 graphs of blow rate and sample size. When done, the unit beeps and makes a click (I assume the inlet blocking to prevent too large a sample) and you read the results in your chosen units against a simple traffic light background. It also gives a time to zero estimate that turned out to be pretty much on the money for me.Whist I don’t have any way of benchmarking the results, they remain consistent when testing more than once and the numbers decline steadily over time as your metabolise the alcohol in your system. So, all seems to be good. Apparently the unit is designed to over-read slightly as there is always a +/- margin of error, so the displayed value is slid upward to ensure no under-reads.In summary, I am pleased with the purchase as it delivers on the promise of accuracy and despite not being the cheapest, it is actually good value when viewed in the context of a lost licence and the impact on your life / livelihood. Being honest, I would only ever buy from a reputable British company like AlcoSense as you get a quality product which has been developed responsibly and with backup service. If you go for a cheap alternative, then I would say you’re putting yourself at risk - trusting something unreliable and so potentially misleading puts you in a worse position overall.I would also say that this type of device should be used in conjunction with a healthy dose of common sense. If I don’t feel up to it, I don’t drive at all. This needs to be reading green AND the driver feeling good. For me, it’s a morning-after double-check and emphatically not a tool to take it to the limit before getting in the car.

Without the test I would no have known. It may seem a little expensive, but compared to the costs of driving over the limit (both financial and otherwise) it is, definitely, worth the expenditure. Although I never drink and drive on the same day, I was surprised how long the alcohol stays in the system. The supplier emailed me yesterday asking if I had any questions about it. As I am not in the UK I enquiried about recalibration after 12 months. A satisfactory response was received within 24 hours. Buy the carry case as well. Great product, highly recommended.

This is the perfect personal breathalyser. It's well built, very easy to use, provides consistent readings and easy to read. I had an Alcosense Elite, but decided to upgrade to the Pro. I'm very glad I did. I couldn't be happier. Don;t even think about buying a foreign (e.g. Chinese or Korean) imitation when you can get something this good that's made in the UK. And their customer service is awesome. I have had no problems, but the MD reached out to me with a personal email to make sure I was as happy as possible. Great product; great company!

I ordered the elite and got a free upgrade to the pro - thank you! It's very small and easy to use. Fuel cell technology which is similar to that used by the police so should be very accurate. It has a very clear screen, a predicted time to sober built in and memory to be able to store reading. Fantastic product.

Professional breathalyser, this is all you need it's worth every penny. This is quality it's so compact and easy to use. Just need to make sure you read the instructions as it's very sensitive and you can damage it not waiting at least 10 minutes after drinking alcohol. The only draw back is you have to pay £25 a year to have recalibrated for accuracy.

I ordered the elite and got a free upgrade to the pro - thank you! It's very small and easy to use. Fuel cell technology which is similar to that used by the police so should be very accurate. It has a very clear screen, a predicted time to sober built in and memory to be able to store reading. Fantastic product.

I bought this product for myself and was so impressed that I have given one to each of my adult sons.It is compact and easy to use as it guides you as to how to blow to obtain an accurate reading. You are also advised as to how long it will be until it is safe to drive. An added advantage is that it adapts to the country you are in by adjusting to their legal limit. Allied to being aware of the units consumed I have found this gives me peace of mind the morning after. After sales service is pleasant and efficient. I would recommend this product.

Very simple to use unit. I have used cheaper units in the past. This is quality. Gives a very accuracy reading. No annoying loud beeps . While a little more pricey I feel my driving licence security is well worth the investment.

Very simple to use. Very accurate. Very easy to follow instructions and explanations. I had 3 pints lager in 3 hrs and then waited 30 mins before testing as instructed. So 3 1/2 hrs passed altogether. My reading was .13 whereas the limit in ireland is .22 so i would legally still have been safe to drive! Tested it again the following night after four glasses of 125ml wine & three 330ml btls of lager over 4 hrs and i was over the limit at .28, dont take a gamble with your license, great product, wish i'd got one sooner.

Have used this 12 times and very impressed blew into machine with 4 pints of lager and gave a very accurate reading not only that it tells how long you have to wait till sober or under the limit easy to use arrived very quick this is my 3rd machine over 7 years and definitely the best I have owned highly recommend this product if your like me that relys on licence this is the one for you

My partner recently got stopped by the police whilst driving the day after having some drinks with friends. She was asked if she had had drinks the night before she was happy to say she had, but that 12 or so hours had passed.She passed the breath test, but the policeman noted that there was some alcohol still in her system. She was profoundly upset, although she knew that people CAN have alcohol in their system the next day, she assumed that was heavy drinkers.We immediately researched and purchased what we believe to be the absolute best brand of home breathalyser, the Alcosense. We chose the Elite, but received the next model, the Pro which has a larger sensor and is more accurate.There is absolutely no excuse for drink driving, and with this you can know with confidence that you are beyond reproach in terms of Alcohol.

One can set the limit to whatever one choses and as I work in an industry with zero tolerance to alcohol, it's reassuring to know that one is clear first thing in the morning. I often start work at 05:00 and I anm very likely to be breatherlyzed at the gate on the way in. A number of colleagues have lost their jobs due to this, Now if I still have alcohol in my system at 05:00, I can be a little late with few reprocussions.

I ordered one of these after having one to many at the works Christmas party. I still felt drunk the next day so didn't want to get in my car and spent the whole day walking everywhere. According to the specs it never under reads, so if this tells you your OK to drive then you're OK. I believe the accuracy of the fuel cell is worth paying the extra for over some of the cheaper models.One of my colleagues also had a go on it after a heavy Christmas session and realised he wasn't fit to drive and ended up waiting around work until he was clear. The time to sober estimation is very useful and it's very clear to use with its red / amber / green screen on the results.Im more than happy with this product and wouldnt hesitate to recommend it, especially for people who like a decent drink. I know people that have lost their licence and livelihood by being unfit to drive the next day. Well worth investing.

Very easy to set up and very easy to use. Obviously I have no way of checking accuracy but so far, readings appear to be commensurate with alcohol intake.The model I ordered was out of stock and therefore Alcosense upgraded to the Pro at no extra cost. Superb customer service thank you.

was upgraded from excel to pro and seems really good , the blow assist is very useful helping achieve the correct blow pressure . All in all seems really well made and great device to check your ok for driving If you have been out etc. A small case would be a great addition for carrying it and a blow tube if you need to.

Firstly, the appliance is very well constructed, it feels robust and looks fit for the purpose. The instructions are comprehensive and it has worked faultlessly on the dozen or so times that I've used it and I can honestly say that, when it tells me that I'm OK to drive, I believe it ! But it's one of those pieces of kit that can't be personally checked for accuracy. It does, I believe from the instructions, err on the side of caution which is a good thing. Being the festive season I checked myself at 10.40 am on Boxing Day and it told me that I'd be sober in 3hrs and 40mins. (a great evening was had by all), I checked again two hours later when the reading gave me the 'thumbs up'. Ultimately, the proof of the pudding is in the hands of the ladies and gentlemen who might ask you to, 'Blow into this tube'.

It has much better functions and usability and it is easy to use to determine if you're close to the limit. As a professional driver I wouldn't be without this breathalyser, for the morning after obviously. Highly recommended product and worth every penny.

Instead of sending my Elite,(used happily for a couple of years) for re - calibration. I decided to buy the Pro.
A vast improvement in ease of use.
Happy to hear there is an update for battery life, mine are near replacement, although I use mine daily, often several times,and still on supplied set two months later.
Yes, the blow tubes are a little loose, and it is very in you face when using it, these are very minor niggles that I can live with.
I am happy to own one and would not be without it as I drink a lot and drive.
It is good to know that I am below the limit to do so.Rating -

Much better than the Elite. A much improved product.
A small snag is that care has to be taken in fitting the breathing tube, otherwise it falls out!
Puzzled by the USB 2 cable supplied. What is it for?
AlcoSense Says: The USB cable is supplied for software updates which can be done by the user. If you check the support section of the website you will be able to download and install new and improved firmware when available. The blow tubes should have a snug fitment, if not please call us on 0800 195 0088 and we'll sort that for you.Rating -

Bought this to replace my Lite which I have had for a few years. It is easy to use and the green bar that tells you if you are breathing at the right rate is very useful and clear to see, even if slightly blurred with my eyesight, as the bar is so close when breathing.. It is an excellent product, I would not be without it. The customer service is excellent as well.

Bought the pro to replace my elite and have found it far better than expected. Easier to use and reads better. Tested along with the elite and both worked great. Which ever you chose you will not be disappointed whatever your budget.

I have had an AlcoSense for many years and found it first class. As it was, like me, getting on a bit, and would soon need re-calibrating I decided to buy the latest. Superb! Only annoying thing is that it is more 'bulky' than my old one and I now have to find a suitable case!

However, I have to say that the build quality and functionality are excellent. Also, the after sales service is very good. The package included a usb cable which puzzled me as there was no reference in the manual as to what it is for, so I emailed asking if it was for future firmware updates or perhaps to communicate with a Windows 10 app (for example) that is not yet available. Got a very prompt reply to let me know it was.

Bought this product recently. Have used it so far only a few times, mainly to check if it gives accurate readings after I have had one drink. It seems to do so. Am very happy with the product. It is high quality. I did make a bold decision to spend £ 150 for it rather than buying cheaper products that may not give accurate results. Would suggest to prospective buyers to consider this product seriously. You money would be spent well. Also the fact that this is designed and manufactured in the UK should give you peace of mind and assurance of high quality.

Bought to replace an older model of Alcosence. Very impressed with the updates, much easier to use and very accurate. I have measured readings from known amounts of alcohol and the results are correct every time. Really like the new function estimating remaining time to be 100% clear.

The alcosense pro fuel cell breathalyser is in a different league though. Easy to use, much better build quality etc. I recommend this product to anyone who likes a drink but doesn't want to lose their license or job because they were over the limit.

For the money I'd expect to get a case thrown in, though that won't affect the rating as this could literally stop me losing my job/house etc.. Simple to use and easy to comprehend the output with clear messages about your blood alcohol level, time till sober and even color coded backlighting in case the blurred vision doesn't give it away that you ought to wait until you can see properly before you think about driving ;)

I accepted a cheap upgrade to the PRO after the Elite began giving spurious readings while under warranty, I was somewhat concerned as the readings obtained from the PRO were lower than those previously obtained from the Elite. I returned the PRO for testing and it was shown to be completely accurate and was returned with a 2 page e mail not only giving the results but explaining what tests were carried out. As per another reviewer I was also surprised at how much I could drink (4 pints of 4% beer) and still be under the limit but certainly wouldn't trust myself to drive after drinking anything like that amount even if the test did show negative. I would finish by saying I consider the customer service from this company is excellent.

Very happy with the unit. The only small disappointment is the tubes need holding firmly in place and that is difficult to do and see the screen at the same time.
AlcoSense Says: You shouldn't need to hold the tubes in place. If you are using the mouthpieces (as opposed to blow tubes) they should sit in snugly but not fall out. I don't think either of my 2 previous Elite's (1 for Scotland) held my confidence for any length of time due to the hit and miss nature of taking a test and some very eratic test results (I always thought a recalibration would be a waste of money). I bought this model in the hope of a vast improvement in ease of use and accuracy and wasn't disappointed. I was initially troubled by the Pro telling me I'm fine to drive but my Elite reporting otherwise but AlcoSense advised me to trust the Pro and have the Elite re-calibrated (which I now intend to do when the Pro is due its service). I await with interest to see how it performs in the coming months.
AlcoSense says: Thanks for the kind review on the Pro. The Elite is a little more fiddly to get the blow pressure right on than the Pro, which makes the Pro a lot easier to use. Also we put a larger increase in reading on the Elite to take into account it's greater margin of error which means the Elite will usually read a bit higher than the Pro, which has a very tight tolerance.Rating -

Upgraded from the Elite as I wasn't sure how accurate it was after 5 years. The Pro is quick to set up and the blow coach helps to get a good accurate reading. The Elite often displayed an error and you had to re-test but I have never had an error with the Pro. Have used the Pro in Scotland and England and it is very easy to change the settings.
While the Pro is more expensive than the Elite it can be used straight out the box and I am more confident in the results. I should have upgraded months ago.Rating -

I upgraded from the Alcosense Elite which was great. I had the Elite for about 4 years. The Pro is even better. Easier to use, better alcohol sensor and a lot easier to provide a breath sample. At the price it is a considered purchase but in my view well worth the money. Very happy with unit and customer service. No hesitation in recommending both.

Firstly let me explain that I am in no way connected to AlcoSense and have not received any “reward” for providing this review, it is a genuine unbiased and truthful review.
I have updated this review after now having used the AlcoSense for a while now, and after having received the most helpful clarifications from the AlcoSense Laboratory. My previous “Cons” (“Zero Reading” and see below for explanation) was unfounded as what I perceived as a limitation was in fact a result of complying with BS-EN16280 which has now also been taken as a European wide standard.
Pros:-
- Very useful in that it covers many countries automatically setting limit according to that country.
- Uses similar fuel cell technology as the UK police, so is comparable with theirs with regards to accuracy. See the Top Gear YouTube video as evidence of this.
- Nice Display that predicts you what time you will be below limit.
- Remarkably easy to use.
- The tubes re-usable. This is not made clear in the description so I've wasted money on buying two packs of 25 tubes - silly me.
Caution:
Wait at least 30 minutes between last alcohol intake and use, as described the sensor is sensitive and can be damaged by too high an alcohol concentration.
Cons: None whatsoever. It would have been nice if the unit was “French NF” compliant, though since 2014 the French authorities have scrapped the fine for not carrying an NF certified breathalyser for an indefinite period. So no great shakes!
Zero Readings:
Do be aware, and it is stated in the instructions, the unit will not display a reading other than zero below 0.10‰BAC (0.05mg/L) because that AlcoSense have designed the unit to comply with the new British Standard (BSI) for breathalysers, BS-EN16280. The standard is actually technically a very high standard and mandates a very high level of accuracy from the product, however one quirk of this standard dictates that an reading below 0.10‰BAC (0.05mg/L) must be rounded down to ZERO and AlcoSense cannot display any other message – for example on the Elite it displays “LOW”. As this is a standard unfortunately AlcoSense cannot pick and choose which parts to comply with.
Other notes provided to me by AlcoSense:
“With regard to giving you an estimate of what alcohol consumption will show what reading on a breathalyser the following is a rule of thumb but does vary between different people. Roughly one unit of alcohol IN THE BLOOD will produce a reading of 0.10-0.15‰BAC on a breathalyser, depending on body weight and a number of other factors. So, for example, to be at the legal limit in England, you would need to have between 5.3 and 8 units of alcohol in the blood AT THE SAME TIME. Alcohol which is still in the stomach is not in the blood and therefore is not impairing you or measurable until it is processed into the blood stream. It must be remembered that the body is constantly processing alcohol into the blood stream from the digestive system and out of the blood stream at the same time. With no food in the stomach the alcohol gets into the blood stream in 15-30 minutes after drinking, with food this can extend up to 90 minutes. Without food more alcohol enters the blood stream more quickly and you have a higher peak reading, but the time from drinking to the alcohol leaving the body is shorter. Firstly let me explain that I am in no way connected to AlcoSense and have not received any “reward” for providing this review, it is a genuine unbiased and truthful review.I have updated this review after now having used the AlcoSense for a while now, and after having received the most helpful clarifications from the AlcoSense Laboratory. My previous “Cons” (“Zero Reading” and see below for explanation) was unfounded as what I perceived as a limitation was in fact a result of complying with BS-EN16280 which has now also been taken as a European wide standard.Pros:-- Very useful in that it covers many countries automatically setting limit according to that country.- Uses similar fuel cell technology as the UK police, so is comparable with theirs with regards to accuracy. See the Top Gear YouTube video as evidence of this.- Nice Display that predicts you what time you will be below limit.- Remarkably easy to use.- The tubes re-usable. This is not made clear in the description so I've wasted money on buying two packs of 25 tubes - silly me.Caution:Wait at least 30 minutes between last alcohol intake and use, as described the sensor is sensitive and can be damaged by too high an alcohol concentration.Cons: None whatsoever. It would have been nice if the unit was “French NF” compliant, though since 2014 the French authorities have scrapped the fine for not carrying an NF certified breathalyser for an indefinite period. My initial impression is that it is a well thought out high quality product which is a useful aid for any driver who may only drink in moderation. On screen instructions are simple to follow and the result of testing is easy to understand. In particular the results are educational and extremely useful in preventing inadvertent breaches of the law. I feel the unit will be very useful when abroad on holiday when perhaps one tends to over indulge in the evenings. My only minor concern is that the carrying case is rather bulky and I would prefer for travelling a soft leather case; a very minor point when considering the strengths and practicality of the unit.

My first Breathalyzer. Have borrowed a friends one before but this is far more like a professional/police device. I'm sometimes concerned about being over the limit in the morning and this gives me the reassurance that I'm ok to drive. Simple to use and gives you an indication of when you can get behind the wheel if you blow over the limit.

Easy to use and like the way it tells you approx. how long you need to wait before driving. So easy to use & a great help for the morning after when you think you're fine to drive, this certainly opens your eyes to the reality. The replacement blow tubes are a tad expensive which would be my only criticism.

Well presented and easy to use. Blow coach very helpful.
I find the blow tube a loose fit and continually have to hold in position when using, difficult to do due to the odd angle the blow tube is angled at. Why it is not a firm press fit i dont know.
Try and do this whilst trying to keep the blow coach within the lines, raise your eyes at an acute angle whilst holding the tube in position.
I also think the cost of the blow tubes is prohibitive and excessive and may have put me off if i had seen the price prior to the unit purchase. having considerable experience of plastics these should cost pennies.
These comments should be viewed as constructive criticism - NOT complaints

As a previous owner of an AlcoSense Elite I was not impressed. However, the company have been very fair and I now have an AlcoSense Pro to use. This unit is in every way better, and at last I have confidence in the results it produces. It is also an order of magnitude easier to use. The unit is well designed and well built. And, much more importantly, it actually works!
Pity the Elite was such a let down, but a fair recovery!Rating -

I have had the Elite for quite a while with varying results! I bought the Pro for the morning after testing and I think its superb.
The unit is smart and the screen is big and very easy to read. I like the way it shows you how hard to blow and for how long.
I am told the accuracy of the Pro is light years ahead of the previous models and I can believe this given the technology behind this little machine.
If you like a drink in the evening and want to drive the following morning I would highly recommend this unit. May seem a lot of money to invest at the start but no where near the cost or the misery of drink driving the following morning.Rating -

Having been as alcosense elite owner for years, took the opportunity to upgrade to the pro to benefit from the advanced more accurate fuel cell technology at very competitive price. This was primary reason for change as more accurate than previous units, which is ultimately the most important quality of any breathalyser in my opinion. On receipt of unit very pleased with quality, ease of use and additional features. Would highly recommend.

I've had a breathalyzer for a few years which finally gave up the ghost this month. I bought the new AlcoSense Pro as a replacement/upgrade and I'm really impressed with it. It's so easy to use and I love that it tells you how long it takes until you're sober and shows how you're blowing on the screen. It makes it so easy to use. The design is great and the build is really nice - it feels quality. Accuracy wise it seems good but I don't have anything to judge it against, but the overall feel of the product and the operation gives you confidence in the quality. I would recommend it!

I'll start by saying, that overall I'm very very impressed with this. The overall design, the lovely screen, and the way it works is top notch. So overall I'd say I'm very happy. It's very easy to use, and looks like a nice device too, much more smart and modern than older units.
If there was one stand-out feature, it would be Blow Coach. It's a really simple feature, but makes it so easy to use. As you blow the screen shows two realtime bars, one you need to keep in the middle (how hard you blow) and the other shows you how much longer to blow.
It sounds simple, but really makes it very easy to use.
The rest of the device is similarly polished, the screen is clear and bright, the device is smart. And it all works nicely.
If you've any concerns about the morning after, I'd highly recommend this to check.Rating
