What is a Fuel Cell used for in Breathalyzers

A Fuel Cell uses its surface area to calculate the percentage of alcohol found in a breath sample provided by the user. The units use patented technology to ensure only the 'deep lung' air is used to provide the most accurate sample. Fuel Cell technology is the most accurate way of reading levels of alcohol in the human body.

Can I use Fuel Cell Breathalyzers for use at home?

Here at AlcoSense Laboratories we strive to bring the most accurate fuel cell breathalysers to the market at the most reasonable prices. Are there different types of Fuel Cell?

Fuel Cells use surface area to provide a reading, therefore with Fuel Cells it is really the bigger, the better! Here at AlcoSense Laboratories all of our Fuel Cells are the same as that used in several Police breathalyzers in the UK, EU and US. The only difference between the Fuel Cells we use is the size, they range from 64 mm² to the 200 mm² as used by the Police.
