Drink-driving messages are failing to get through to twenty-something drivers warns the IAM (Institute of Advanced Motorists). Drivers in their 20s are the group most likely to be caught drink-driving or involved in a serious accident involving death or serious injury.

The IAM issued its warning after figures released by ACPO (the Association of Chief Police Officers) showed that during its Christmas 2014 anti- drink-drive campaign the failure rate for drivers under 25 was nearly double that of drivers over 25.
