Easy to Use

Like it's bigger brothers, the AlcoSense ONE has been designed to be as easy as possible to use. To do a breath test all you need to do is turn the unit on, wait for it to count down to zero, then blow until it beeps and shows your reading. Easy!

Independently Approved

AlcoSense ONE is one of the lowest priced products ever to be approved by the US Dept. of Transport Standard for Hand Held Breathalysers as an Alcohol Screening Device. The US shares the same drink drive limit as the UK but sadly no UK consumer breathalyser approval process or standard exists.

Scotland, England or both?

On 5th December 2014 Scotland lowered its drink drive limit from 0.80‰BAC (80mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood) to 0.50‰BAC (50mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood), England, Wales and Northern Ireland stay at 0.80‰BAC. AlcoSense shows you a reading of your alcohol level so you can use it anywhere in the UK.

Easy to Understand Results

Slightly different to the rest of the range, AlcoSense™ ONE shows your level of intoxication in % BAC (percent of blood alcohol content). It shows your reading in increments of 0.01.The UK drink drive limit is 0.08%BAC. AlcoSense ONE reads up to 0.12%BAC – 1.5 times the UK Limit - above this level it will continue to show 0.12%BAC.

At the drink drive limit the AlcoSense ONE has an accuracy of +/-0.02%BAC, further away from the limit this accuracy may be less. If you would like your AlcoSense to have greater accuracy throughout the reading range, automatically warn you not to drive if you are near to or over the limit, give more detailed readings or read in mg/l please consider the Lite or Elite.

New ZERO™ Technology

The AlcoSense ONE features ZERO™ technology to make sure the unit continues reads at it's best. Using fresh air the user can regularly zero the unit. This greatly reduces ‘sensor drift' which reduces accuracy in repeated use - a prolific problem amongst many rival entry-level breathalysers.

Sleek Design

It's high gloss black design can discretely be kept anywhere. AlcoSense™ ONE measures only 19mm x 30mm x 16.5mm and weighs only 66 grams including batteries. It is powered by 2 x AAA batteries meaning that you can use it anywhere at any time.

Use it Again & Again

AlcoSense™ ONE can be used again and again. For the most accurate results we recommend waiting one hour between tests so the previous sample can fully evaporate from the sensor chamber. If you wish to do multiple tests in a short time we recommend considering the AlcoSense Lite or Elite for their sensor clean and purge features
